Nice Box Turtle, I like the pattern on it's shell.
He was a visitor in the garden. The cat was out and spotted it.. It was a pretty good sized one.. The kids wanted to keep it and I turned that one down flat..
Good call, they're cute, but carry salmonella.

We let him loose back into his natural habitat in the creek behind our house.. Me being a germ freak I scrubbed down lots of little hands.
